Hot Hotels: La Belle Juliette Boutique Hotel in Paris

La Belle Juliette is a four-star luxury hotel in one of the best areas of Paris. Rue du Cherche Midi is high on style but short on tourists.

The interior design is by Anne Gelbard, the Parisian expert of “home couture”. Corinne Moncelli (owner of the hotel) and Anne have worked together closely to conceive all the wonders that are to be found at La Belle Juliette, with the invaluable help of architect Vincent Bastie.

The hotel’s plush décor is inspired by Madame Récamier, known to her friends as Juliette. Juliette (1777-1849) was a celebrity known throughout Europe, famous for her beauty and virtue. At the Abbaye-aux-Bois, where she held her salons for over thirty years, her influence on literature and politics was well known.
